Another dry year is possible for western Nebraska
February 14, 2008

Nebraska's state climatologist has told a water conference that western Nebraska faces strong odds of another very dry year. Specifically, he thinks La Nina could cause a wet spring followed by a dry summer, which would compound the problem by delaying planting and then stunting crop growth. He thinks times will be especially hard on farmers who use irrigation.

We can help you with farm products of all sorts, including portable pumps and canal gates for irrigation. Please feel free to contact us with your questions.
