Waterloo approves new stormwater ordinance

The city of Waterloo (in northeastern Iowa) has passed a new stormwater ordinance that will require significant new stormwater-pollution controls including silt fences and other controls like turbidity curtains to prevent water runoff from construction sites from polluting rivers and streams.
