Kansas water boss reiterates plans to sue Nebraska

The chief engineer for the Kansas Division of Water Resources says that if Nebraska doesn't tell him how it's going to send more water down the Republican River by February 4th, he's planning to start the legal process to get that water. Agricultural users in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado remain locked in a dispute over how much water can be drawn from the Republican basin, especially given the extended drought in the region.
