Sediment rules get tougher for Nebraska contractors

The city of Beatrice is imposing some strict new rules on sediment controls and erosion barriers on construction sites. As the Federal authorities become more strict about stormwater regulations, we can expect to see many communities increasing their regulatory control over stormwater issues -- whether voluntarily or not.
