Low water pressure leads to big fire losses

Fires in a Mississippi town last night were badly aggravated by low water pressure in the community. Most communities get their water pressure from booster stations and elevated tanks. Portable firefighting pumps and fuel transfer pumps are two secondary options widely used by fire departments to help make up the difference when the normal municipal supply is insufficient.
