Iowa authorities will decide stream reclassifications in about a week

The Iowa Environmental Protection Commission will decide whether to approve 295 stream and river reclassifications at a meeting on April 8th in Carroll. If approved, the new classifications will require much more stringent wastewater treatment standards for many Iowa communities.
