Parts of central Nebraska hit with 11 inches of rain

Recent storms reportedly left behind as much as 11 inches of rain in some parts of central Nebraska. That kind of extremely heavy precipitation is enough to cause massive flooding almost anywhere, though it also serves as a reminder of the value of adding stormwater containment tanks and other equalization facilities to municipal wastewater systems.
