Burlington faces expensive flood-cleanup bill

The cost to clean out and repair the city's nearly 70-year-old civic auditorium could easily reach half a million dollars, and that's just one facility. Burlington's wastewater treatment plant and some of its pump stations were put out of commission by flooding on the Mississippi River in June.
