Researcher: "Droughts don't need to be as severe these days to have major impacts"

As Colorado enjoys a rare season without a drought, they're counting their blessings as they look to California and to much of the South, where droughts have brought about serious consequences. A climatologist at the National Drought Mitigation Center notes, "Twenty years ago, we could have survived more bad years. Now, we're much more vulnerable."
