Five states had top-ten driest summers this year

June, July, and August formed top-ten driest summers in Montana, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina this year. Meanwhile, it was a record- to near-record-wet summer in Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa.
