Massive flooding pounds East Coast

175,000 people were told to evacuate parts of Pennsylvania yesterday over concerns that floodwaters would destroy their homes and do enormous damage to the Wilkes-Barre area. While flooding damage was widespread, it appears that many of their flood-control measures have worked to reduce the impact.
