Lots of Change on the Way for Iowa's Water

The Des Moines Register features a big story today on the major challenges facing Iowa's water ecosystem. The bottom line to the story is that we have lots of different sources contributing to water pollution and the state government is about to start cracking down. Most of the burden is likely to fall upon municipal and industrial users of water, though agriculture contributes a large share of the pollution.
