Cedar Rapids gets a water scare for Thanksgiving

A construction accident caused elevated turbidity in the Cedar Rapids water system, resulting in a widespread boil order for the city. The boil order has been lifted, but perhaps the brief incident will serve to remind some Iowans of the profound importance of safe drinking water.
