EPA hits Massachusetts developers hard for water pollution

The EPA has hit three developers with $157,500 fines for their failure to prevent stormwater runoff from polluting nearby waterways. Turbidity curtains and soil-reinforcement barriers are extremely inexpensive by comparison with fines like those.
