Water suppliers in UK hit with $25 million fine

Government water regulators in the UK have slapped Thames Water with $25 million in fines for providing indequate reporting and customer service. Thames says the fines will hurt its ability to improve future customer service. It's a signal that people take their municipal water supplies extremely seriously -- but only when they feel threatened. Most of the time, they simply don't want to think about it.
