Study suggests high manganese concentrations in water could harm kids

A study published by the National Institutes of Health suggests that high concentrations of manganese in drinking water could have harmful neurological effects on young children. Manganese occurs naturally in our water supplies, but it can be removed through methods like sand filtration.
