Des Moines City Council to vote on spending sales-tax money

The Des Moines City Council will decide on April 9th how it would spend money raised through a local-option sales tax being proposed for the metro area. They already know that they'll have to spend $250 million over the next two decades to bring the city's sewer systems into compliance with Federal regulations.
