Rivers in north-central Iowa still flooding

As of this afternoon, both the east and west forks of the Des Moines River were above flood stage in north-central Iowa at places like Algona and Humboldt. Given the continued chance of rain, the Des Moines will probably flood farther downstream as the weekend approaches.
