Computer security meets water security

Crooks recently broke into a laptop belonging to a Pennsylvania water system and were able to install malicious software. While it appears as though they were just planning to use the computer as a "bot" from which to pump out spam, they had enough access to the water plant's controls that they could have made the water dangerous to drink.
