Group wants Iowa to spend $60 million a year on flood prevention
December 9, 2010

A group of people from the Cedar River valley -- including politicians and environmentalists -- is organizing under the name "Cedar River Watershed Coalition" to pursue a list of 40 projects they think will help prevent future flooding in eastern Iowa like the floods that did enormous damage to Cedar Rapids and other parts of the river valley in 2008. The group wants the state to spend $60 million a year on flood prevention projects. The group also calls for a statewide watershed management program.

We work on a variety of stormwater control projects. Please feel free to contact us with your questions.
