Geologic sequestration of carbon dioxide - or, in other words, pumping carbon dioxide underground
- is emerging as a possible method of containing greenhouse gas emissions. But the EPA hasn't yet evaluated whether that puts groundwater at risk
. They might need to hurry, since the Department of Energy is rather gung-ho
about using sequestration techniques.
