How to Make Water Flow Uphill

In a complicated experiment involving steam, a sawtooth-shaped surface, and high-speed cameras, a British physicist appears to be able to make tiny drops of water move uphill. For the rest of humanity, though, getting water from low places to high places still involves the use of lots of pumps.
