Existing Viruses + Better Research = Less Salmonella in Hog Waste Lagoons

The USDA says its research wing has made major strides towards identifying helpful viruses that kill undesirable bacteria like salmonella in hog-waste lagoons. By collecting and duplicating the helpful viruses, they may be able to reduce bacterial infections and improve the safety of the food supply.
