Bill Gates Makes Big Investment in Ethanol

When America's richest man puts $84 million into an ethanol company, that's a pretty good sign it's a growth market. The real question is whether many ethanol plants will continue to be locally owned and operated, or whether big investors will swallow the market, as just happened with the sale of a controlling stake in MGP of Lakota, Iowa, to a holding company from Australia.
