A Month Without Rain

The city of Quincy, Illinois recorded its first month without precipitation in 90 years. Quincy is on the Illinois-Missouri border, about 30 miles south of the southeastern corner of Iowa. The lack of rainfall is a threat both to crops and to navigation on the Mississippi River.
